In 2019, Minister Audrey Gordon became one of three black Canadian MLA’s elected to the Manitoba Legislature. Minister Gordon made further history by becoming Manitoba’s first black Cabinet Minister in Brian Pallister’s government.
Minister Gordon has over 25 years of experience in the Manitoba Government as a public servant. She has worked in the Health, Labour & Immigration and Multiculturalism departments. She has held the portfolios of Minister of Mental Health, Wellness & Recovery and Minister of Health & Seniors Care.
Prior to entering politics, she served as Director of Strategic Initiatives with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

En 2019, la ministre Audrey Gordon est devenue l’une des trois députées canadiennes noires élues à l’Assemblée législative du Manitoba. La ministre Gordon est entrée dans l’histoire en devenant la première ministre noire du Manitoba dans le gouvernement de Brian Pallister.
Mme Gordon a plus de 25 ans d’expérience en tant que fonctionnaire au sein du gouvernement manitobain. Elle a travaillé dans les ministères de la Santé, du Travail et de l’Immigration et du Multiculturalisme. Elle a occupé les portefeuilles de ministre de la Santé mentale, du Bien-être et du Rétablissement et de ministre de la Santé et des Soins aux personnes âgées.
Avant d’entrer en politique, elle a été directrice des initiatives stratégiques à l’Office régional de la santé de Winnipeg.
