Josh Matlow has served on Toronto City Council, representing Ward 12 Toronto–St. Paul’s, since 2010. Prior to his career on Toronto City Council, Matlow was a Toronto District School Board trustee from 2003 to 2010.

In 2003, Matlow was elected to the Toronto District School Board as a trustee and re-elected to the same position in 2006.

On City Council, Councillor Matlow serves as a voice of the Jewish community. He has often been at the forefront in reporting and calling out antisemitism and has been an excellent partner with B’nai Brith in combating antisemitism in Toronto.

We thank Councillor Matlow for his contribution to our Jewish Heritage Month campaign and for his tireless efforts in fighting antisemitism.
