MPP Robin Martin has had a distinguished career, both in and outside politics.
Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, she earned a bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s degree in political theory. She completed her law degree at the University of Toronto in 1991.
MPP Martin practised litigation for over a decade before becoming a policy advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Health.
In 2018, she was elected to represent Eglinton-Lawrence at Queen’s Park. She is currently the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health.
In the Legislature, MPP Martin has been a strong advocate for the Jewish community. She co-sponsored Bill 168, the Combating Antisemitism Act. She lobbied for the government to adopt the IHRA definition, which it did in 2020. She later helped establish a Holocaust memorial on the Queen’s Park grounds.
B’nai Brith thanks MPP Martin for her tireless advocacy for the Jewish community. Her actions have helped Ontario become a leader in Canada in the fight against antisemitism.

Née à Saskatoon, en Saskatchewan, elle est titulaire d’une licence de l’Université McGill et d’une maîtrise en théorie politique. Elle a obtenu son diplôme de droit à l’université de Toronto en 1991.
La députée Martin a pratiqué le contentieux pendant plus de dix ans avant de devenir conseillère en politiques au ministère de la Santé de l’Ontario.
En 2018, elle a été élue pour représenter Eglinton-Lawrence à Queen’s Park. Elle est actuellement l’adjointe parlementaire du ministre de la Santé.
À l’Assemblée législative, la députée Martin a défendu avec vigueur la communauté juive. Elle a coparrainé le projet de loi 168, la Loi sur la lutte contre l’antisémitisme. Elle a fait pression pour que le gouvernement adopte la définition de l’AIMH ce qu’il a fait en 2020. Elle a ensuite contribué à la création d’un mémorial de l’Holocauste sur le site de Queen’s Park.
