JEWISH HERITAGE MONTH PARTNER: snowdon
Snowdon City Councillor Sonny Moroz is the sole Jewish voice on Montreal City Council. With over a decade of experience in politics at the federal, provincial and now municipal levels, Councillor Moroz is an active community participant and advocate.
Being a leader in the Jewish community, Councillor Moroz tabled a unanimous motion at Montreal City Council to declare the month of May as Jewish Heritage Month in Montreal.
Councillor Moroz has been an active partner with B’nai Brith and a strong ally for promoting and defending Jewish rights and heritage in Quebec.
We thank Councillor Moroz for his dedication to supporting the Jewish community of Quebec and for his leadership in getting Montreal to recognize Jewish Heritage Month.
Sonny Moroz, conseiller municipal de Snowdon, est la seule voix juive au conseil municipal de Montréal. Avec plus d’une décennie d’expérience en politique aux niveaux fédéral, provincial et maintenant municipal, le conseiller Moroz est un participant et un défenseur actif de la communauté.
En tant que chef de file de la communauté juive, le conseiller Moroz a déposé une motion unanime au conseil municipal de Montréal pour déclarer le mois de mai Mois du patrimoine juif à Montréal.
