Canadian Jewry Marks International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Today marks the 71st anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp in 1945, and has been designated as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Since 2005, the United Nations has designated January 27 as a day of remembrance for the victims of the Holocaust, including six million Jews, and five million non-Jews who were murdered by the Nazi regime during World War II. Paris attacks highlight critical need to screen out those with radical Jihadist views

November 15, 2015, TORONTO — Reports of a Syrian passport found at the scene of one of the terror attacks in Paris highlight the ever increasing need to properly screen all individuals entering Canada, warns B'nai Brith Canada. Greek authorities have reported that the passport was 'very likely' used by an individual who transited to France via the Greek island of Leros. Approximately 129 people were killed and another 352 injured in a number of separate and brutal terror attacks across the French capital. Continue reading

Topham found guilty of promoting hatred against Jews

B’nai Brith was among the first complainants to reach out to the RCMP regarding Topham’s postings which have been replete with racist attacks against the Jewish community. For years Topham has focused his outlandish conspiracy theories directly at B’nai Brith for its leadership in holding him to account for willfully promoting hatred against Jews.  Continue reading
