Privacy Policy

Use of Personal Information

Your name, address, contact information, donation amount and any other personal data that you provide are kept confidential by B’nai Brith in Canada. This information is used only by B’nai Brith in Canada to keep you informed of our activities, events, action campaigns or funding needs, for individual donor acknowledgement such as sending thank you letters, donor reports and tax receipts.

Mailing and Email Lists

B’nai Brith in Canada may use the information you provide, or your donor history to send you information which may best interest you. If at any time you choose not to receive communication from B’nai Brith in Canada, you may contact our communications department and we will remove your name from our mailing or email list(s). An ‘Unsubscribe’ link is included in every email and allows you to opt out of the email list.

B’nai Brith in Canada does not rent, sell, give away or trade its member or donor lists or any information contained in those lists. Member/donor information is used by B’nai Brith for charitable purposes only as described above, and will not be used by any entity outside B'nai Brith.

Electronic Personal Records

Member and donor information is maintained in a secure database, and only authorized personnel have access to this information, and only for appropriate organizational purposes.

Visiting our Website

Visitors are not required to register or provide personal information to view our website, and are therefore anonymous. B’nai Brith in Canada online donors choose the personal information that B’nai Brith receives and can opt to remain anonymous. All credit card transactions are conducted securely through Pay Pal. We use Google Analytics to optimize our website. This tool does not require our site visitors to identify themselves, and does not provide us any personal identifiable information about our visitors that is not supplied voluntarily or via the public domain. 

Authorized Release of Information

B’nai Brith in Canada may be legally required to disclose information on occasion. B’nai Brith Canada complies with all applicable legal requirements and standards.

Changes to this Policy

B'nai Brith reserves the right to modify, adjust, update or otherwise change this policy without prior written notice.
