Public Relations & Creative Specialist

Overview:
B’nai Brith Canada is seeking a dynamic, resourceful, and highly creative professional to join our team as a Public Relations & Creative Specialist. This role blends strategic public relations with the conceptual creativity of an advertising agency, offering a rare opportunity to shape public perception and deliver imaginative campaigns that drive impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative PR and communications strategies that elevate B’nai Brith Canada’s profile and reputation.
- Lead the creative development of marketing concepts and campaign ideas—from big-picture strategy to tactical execution.
- Craft compelling messaging tailored to different audience segments and channels.
- Leverage relationships with influencers, journalists, media outlets, and community partners to secure impactful coverage and support.
- Collaborate across departments to align PR with marketing, advocacy, and programmatic goals.
- Assist in planning and organizing projects with exacting attention to detail and timelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Diploma or degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations, marketing communications, or creative campaign development.
- Experience working in or with creative or advertising agencies is a significant asset.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional creative thinking skills with a portfolio or track record of ideating and executing original marketing or PR campaigns.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail—grammar, formatting, branding, tone, consistency, and execution.
- Extremely organized, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage workflows across teams.
- Basic proficiency in design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
- Event planning or project management experience is an asset.
