While speaking at the Ambassadors Against BDS International Summit at the UN on May 31, Sodastream CEO Daniel Birnbaum delivered a beatdown on the movement – implying that instead of hurting the popular soda-making company, it actually resulted in massive profits.
When asked about whether the movement had a direct impact on the company’s progress, Birnbaum not only wholeheartedly agreed with the correlation but he also sarcastically thanked Omar Barghouti, one of the founders of the movement for Sodastream’s successes.
