B’nai Brith Canada-Midwest Region and The League for Human Rights are proud to announce the launch of a new human rights initiative grant in Manitoba.

The goal of the B’nai Brith Human Rights Initiative Grant Fund is to inspire individuals to create human rights projects that will promote themes designed to benefit the communities of Manitoba. B’nai Brith believes that, through the promotion of this Grant Fund, it can encourage the creativity and thought processes of individuals interested in enhancing their educational and social experiences. B’nai Brith also can provide those same experiences for others by developing a Human Rights Project and then delivering it in practice.

The grant follows the philosophy of the Human Rights Code of Manitoba, which is based on the universal declaration of human rights: “The individual worth and dignity of every member of the human family.”

These grants are open to all members of the community but applicants must be residents of Manitoba. The deadline to apply is Feb. 28, 2017.

For more information or to download the application, please visit bnaibrith.ca/winnipeg or contact Adriana Glikman at [email protected] or 204-487-9623.
