B’nai Brith Canada congratulates Quebec Board member, Larry Rosenthal on his appointment to the Executive of the Jewish Community Council of Montreal.

Rosenthal is a long time member and contributor with B’nai Brith Canada. One of Rosenthal’s consummate projects through B’nai Brith and the Jewish community at-large has been the recognition of Jewish war veterans. He spearheaded the erection of a monument honouring the war veterans at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery in Montreal.

“Larry has been such a fantastic contributor to the Jewish community,” said Harvey Levine B’nai Brith Canada’s Quebec Regional Executive Director. “He will no doubt bring more growth and success to it in his new role.”

“He is a very devoted Jew in the full sense of the word,” said Ted Greenfield, past-president of B’nai Brith Canada and current Chair of its Quebec Board. Everything he does is fashioned around an adherence to Jewish principles and tzedakah. He stands up for what he truly believes is best for the Jewish people and justice.”
