MONTRÉAL – B’nai Brith Canada est ravi de féliciter les gagnants du concours de création littéraire La Diversité Parmi Nous qui a eu lieu hier soir à Montréal.
« Nous sommes très fiers de l’incroyable travail et du dévouement des jeunes participants et de toutes les personnes impliquées dans ce concours très important », a déclaré Michael Mostyn, chef de la direction de B’nai Brith Canada. « Ramener ce concours à Montréal a été un succès retentissant, les participants concourant dans les deux langues.»

La Diversité Parmi Nous est un concours novateur conçu pour promouvoir les valeurs vitales de la diversité et de l’inclusion dans notre pays par le biais de la narration et de l’illustration. Les lycéens ont été invités à créer des livres destinés aux élèves des écoles primaires. Ces livres ont été soumis afin de courir la chance de gagner des prix pour eux-mêmes, leurs écoles et leurs enseignants.
Les gagnants de Montréal ont été annoncés hier soir lors d’un événement spécial.
Anna Nelson a remporté le premier prix du concours anglais avec son livre “On The Court”. Elena Soukvilay a remporté le premier prix du concours français avec son livre “Le Jardin de Lily”.
Pour avoir terminé premiers de nos concours à Montréal, les livres d’Anna et d’Elena ont été publiés par des professionnels et seront distribués dans les écoles primaires et les bibliothèques du Québec.

MONTREAL – B’nai Brith Canada is delighted to congratulate the winners of last night’s Diverse Minds creative writing competition in Montreal.
“We are so very proud of all the incredible work and dedication that the young participants and everyone involved put into this very important contest,” said Michael Mostyn, Chief Executive Officer of B’nai Brith Canada. “Bringing this competition back to Montreal was a resounding success, with participants competing in both languages.”

Diverse Minds is a groundbreaking contest designed to promote the vital values of diversity and inclusion in our country through the mediums of storytelling and illustration. High school students were invited to create books geared towards elementary school students. They were entered as submissions for chances to win prizes for themselves and for their schools and teachers.
The winners for Montreal were announced last night at a special celebratory event.
Anna Nelson took first prize in the English competition with her book “On The Court.” Elena Soukvilay took first prize in the French competition with her book “Le Jardin de Lily.”
For finishing first in our Montreal competitions, the books by Anna and Elena have been professionally published and will be distributed to elementary schools and libraries in Quebec.
