TORONTO – B’nai Brith Canada, in conjunction with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Israel and Golda Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies, is proud to be the exclusive Jewish-community sponsor of a major international symposium on antisemitism and Israel.

Israel @ 70: Critical Perspectives on Diaspora Relations, Identity and Antisemitism will take place from Sunday, Oct. 7 to Wednesday, Oct. 10, and feature renowned speakers, both locally and internationally in stature, on the subject of global antisemitism.

Considered the world’s most prominent researcher in the field of Jewish demography, Italian-Israeli Professor Sergio DellaPergola of the Hebrew University will deliver a compelling presentation on antisemitism in Italy.

Join us for a panel discussion on antisemitism and the legal system with B’nai Brith Senior Legal Counsel David Matas, Professor Lorraine Weinrib of the University of Toronto and Justice Ed Morgan of the Ontario Supreme Court. Moderated by Osgoode Hall Law School Professor Lorne Sossin.
