B’nai Brith Canada Represents Jewish Community at U.S. Forums

David Matas, renowned international human rights, immigration and refugee lawyer based in Winnipeg, was B’nai Brith Canada’s representative at The High Level Forum on Global Antisemitism at the United Nations in New York last week.

David Matas has produced 11 books on human rights themes.  He is B’nai Brith Canada’s senior honourary counsel.  In 2008, he was awarded the Order of Canada.

Meanwhile, B’nai Brith’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Mostyn, also has been representing Canada’s Jewish community internationally in recent days. He was attending the B’nai B’rith International Leadership Forum in Washington.

Accompanying him as Canadian representation at the event was Sheila Mostyn, Senior Vice President, B’nai B’rith International.
