Holocaust Remembrance Day 2021: Winnipeg

For the past 28 years, The League for Human Rights of B’nai Brith Midwest Region has presented Unto Every Person There Is A Name, a program in honour of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) at the Manitoba Legislative building. At this commemoration we have read the names of Holocaust victims that are inscribed on the monument at the Manitoba Legislature. However, this year due to COVID-19 we must hold this commemoration virtually.

We will be reading the names of individuals and families who perished in the Holocaust and of survivors who came to Manitoba. These people, their children and grandchildren have contributed greatly to every facet of life in our community and province. Please join us.
