B’nai Brith Demands Action on Antisemitism

July 21, 2021

OTTAWA — B’nai Brith Canada has been working hard to raise awareness about the recent rise in antisemitism, and to demand it be taken more seriously by the government and the public.

Earlier this month, our Chief Executive Officer, Michael Mostyn, wrote an op-ed in Le Devoir, a leading francophone newspaper in Quebec. This full French op-ed can be read HERE.

Last week, he reiterated many of the same points for a global audience with an English piece in the Times of Israel, which can be read HERE.

“The Jewish community will not be silent in the face of threats,” Mostyn said. “We call on people of good conscience all over the world to join us in speaking up about this growing threat.”

Mostyn is a participant in today’s Canadian Summit on Antisemitism.
