Emergency Response Food Drive – Help Us Help Them

When the COVID-19 pandemic forced many vital services to close, countless members of the Toronto Jewish community became devastated.
Seniors, Holocaust survivors, folks with mental and physical disabilities, shut-ins, war veterans and people living below the poverty line had come to rely on daily vital programs, including our B’nai Brith daily seniors' program.

That’s when B’nai Brith Canada stepped up to the plate.

We could not stand idly by and allow the needy and vulnerable to go hungry. Our motto is People Helping People - that’s what we do.

We launched the Emergency Response Food Drive to deliver food to the needy every week - and we’ve committed to continue this program while COVID-19 is in our midst.

Meet Bea.

Bea is a senior citizen who lives alone.

She was dependent on B’nai Brith’s daily lunch program for her meals until COVID-19 forced her to remain indoors. Our Emergency Response Food Drive is ensuring that Bea won’t go hungry.

“I haven’t been out for weeks. I really am thankful for the food that is brought in for me.”

Bea is one of the many individuals we are supporting through our Emergency Response Food Drive. We cannot continue feeding the most needy in our community without your financial support.

Please. Help us help them.
