B'nai Brith Announces Winners of Student Human Rights Awards 2008
“The exceptional and diverse range of entries that we received this year from talented students from across the country was truly inspiring,” said Dr. Zeeva Millman, Chair of the League for Human Rights’ Student Human Rights Awards contest. “Students focused creatively on addressing real problems that they had encountered at school and at home such as racism, religious intolerance and discrimination. They approached these issues with sensitivity and maturity, offering insight well beyond their years.
