Stop Palestinian Incitement

Stop Palestinian Incitement

At least seven innocent Israelis have been killed in cold-blooded attacks, and dozens more have been injured at the hands of radical Palestinians, another generation brainwashed by their leaders and a culture of terror into committing horrific acts of violence against their neighbours. The current campaign of incitement being waged by Mahmoud Abbas, Hamas and the Palestinian leadership is grotesque.

At the same time that Abbas is calling for blood to be spilled in the name of Allah, symbolic support is being given to the regime, with the United Nations raising the Palestinian flag at the recent opening of the UN General Assembly.

Everyone deserves the right to live in peace, without fear of being attacked in the streets as they go about their daily lives. The Palestinian people deserve a leadership which promotes peaceful coexistence, and which develops communities, infrastructure, jobs and culture, not one that incites its children to commit terror attacks and suicide missions for religious martyrdom.

As Canadians, we have an obligation to take a principled stand against Palestinian incitement and demand that the world do the same.

"We bless every drop of blood that has been spilled for Jerusalem, which is clean and pure blood, blood spilled for Allah, Allah willing. Every martyr will reach Paradise, and everyone wounded will be rewarded by Allah”

-Mahmoud Abbas, September 16

Our Federal Election takes place on October 19th. Please add your voice as we call upon the next Canadian Government to:

  • Demand that the Palestinian leadership stop inciting violence and condemn all acts of terror.

  • Call on the Palestinians to immediately return to peaceful negotiations with Israel rather than unilateral declarations and acts of violence.

  • Immediately undertake an extensive review of all Palestinian support, to re-ensure that Canadian charitable aid dollars are not misappropriated to directly or indirectly support Palestinian terror.

While we thank the Canadian Government for the principled stand taken in voting NO to the raising of the Palestinian flag at the United Nations last month, we believe we must do more to show that acts of terror and violence will not be accepted by civil society. We the undersigned add our voices to the call to action above.
