DESPITE ARAFAT’S PROMISE, VIOLENCE ERUPTS IN ISRAEL

Toronto — In the wake of the relentless continuous use of violence by chairman Arafat and the Palestinian Authority, and the vicious terrorist attacks last week in Haifa and in Jerusalem, B’nai Brith Canada has a delegation on a solidarity Leadership Mission now visiting Israel. The group is being lead by Mrs. Rochelle Wilner (President) and Mr. Frank Dimant (Executive Vice President) of B’nai Brith Canada.

While in a meeting with Israel’s Minister of Defense in Tel Aviv to day the Minister informed the delegation of yet another vicious attack. Terrorists shot and lobbed grenades at a Dan bus on route 189 to Emmanual, mortars were fired at an Israeli car near the Gaza Strip, and in Gush Katiff a suicide bomber blew him self up and injured several innocent bystanders. The reports indicate that there are 8 dead and scores wounded.
