B’NAI BRITH CANADA TAKES ACTION TO AID VICTIMS OF TERROR ATTACKS IN THE U.S.

Emergency fund set up to aid rescue and relief efforts

Toronto, September 12, 2001… B’nai Brith Canada announced the establishment of a special fund earmarked to help in the rescue of survivors of yesterday’s terror attacks in the US, and to provide relief to the victims’ families.

The burden of these efforts will be immense and B’nai Brith calls on the community to use this fund as a tangible means of demonstrating the immense bond of empathy that exists between Canadians and the American people in their time of need.
