B’nai Brith Canada asks the community to sign open Books of Condolences

 

Toronto, February 4, 2003

For Immediate Release

February 4th, 2003, Toronto — Canadians are invited to sign Books of Condolences in memory of the seven astronauts who tragically died in the Columbia disaster. The books will be available at all B’nai Brith Canada offices and various Jewish community centres across Canada.

The Books of Condolences, which will invoke the ancient Jewish prayer “Oseh Shalom Bimromav” — “He who makes peace up on high”, will be collected and delivered to the families in an expression of sympathy over the loss of these great heroes.
