Overnight at Dan Pearl Hotel, Jerusalem
Day 3 Thursday } Security Assessment Along the Border with Egypt and the Gaza strip
Visit the Tank Corp Memorial and pay tribute to IDF fallen soldiers. Meet with the mayors of Saad and Netivot. Meet the chief security officer — inspection and briefing along the border. Lunch with IDF Minorities Battalion, the regional commander will review security and border problems and the impact on local communities. Meet with family of one of the IDF soldiers kidnapped by Hizballah.

Day 4 Friday } Judea, Samaria and Gaza,
past, present & future a regional evaluation
En route — regional highlights and assessment. Leave roots in the land of Israel, plant a tree in a JNF forest (optional). Gush Etzion / Efrat, meet with municipal officials, mayors — current events, briefing and evaluation. Presentation by resident’s committee.

Day 5 Saturday } at leisure in Jerusalem
Optional walking tour — Old City. Shabbat lunch.

Day 6 Sunday } Facing Relentless Palestinian Terror — Jerusalem
Breakfast meeting with a Cabinet Minister. Meet with senior government officials, mayors — update, review and evaluation. Visit Yad Vashem with a memorial service in the Valley of Communities. Falafel lunch (optional). Visit Shaare Tzedek hospital, meet the head of the Trauma unit, and examine how emergency facilities cope with victims of terror. Jewish treasure hunt in Nachlaot. View the Old City and visit the Kotel. Meeting (Jerusalem) with the Canadian Ambassador, and members of the Canadian Representative office from Ramallah.

Day 7 Monday } Heart to Heart – With Victims of Terror — Jerusalem
Breakfast meeting with Cabinet Minister / Member of Knesset / Scholar in residence “Current events and minorities in Israel”, followed by a heart to heart meeting with victims of terror. Optional — Walking tour of Jerusalem / Visit the Israel Museum / the Science Museum / the Biblical Zoo
Overnight at Dan Pearl Hotel, Jerusalem
For those leaving — late checkout, transfer to Ben Gurion airport and return to Canada.
Day 8 Tuesday } Return to Canada
Arrive in Toronto
