Lions Gate Lodge # 1716 in Vancouver BC

Lions Gate Lodge in Vancouver, B.C. was founded in 1910. It was originally part of B'nai Brith International, but since 2008 it has come under the jurisdiction of B’nai Brith Canada.  We subscribe to the motto of People Helping People and bring men and women of the Jewish faith together in fellowship to serve the interests of the Jewish and non-Jewish community through combating antisemitism, bigotry, and racism in Canada. We also manage two affordable seniors buildings that accommodate hundreds of needy people.


Kol Echad the official publication of Forestdale Heights Lodge, #2667. It is designed to inform, educate, and entertain members of the lodge. Forestdale Heights Lodge was chartered during Canada 's Centennial year and has been a strong and active lodge in the areas of Community Volunteer Services, social programs, fund raising and much more.

Its CVS programs range from taking part in B'nai Brith programs at Chanukah and Purim, operating its own unique Purim program for seniors at the BBC seniors building and reaching out and assisting groups and individuals in the general community.

Toronto Freedom Lodge will be celebrating its 40th anniversary next year. The members present a good cross-section of the Jewish community from working people to captains of industry and professions. Toronto Freedom Lodge members are active in community work and all sport leagues of B'nai Brith and welcome those wanting to play winter or summer sports.
